Request A VPS

Login into your Rapid.space Account

Access the Public Cloud to request your instance

 

Rapid Space PayZen Payment

 

The VPS are hosted on Rapid.Space public cloud. Each cloud is separated in the Rapid.Space, to request a public service it is need to access the public cloud.

Find the "Public Cloud" Project and click on it.

Add Instance Tree

Click on "Add Instance Tree". Instances trees group all necessary services for your instance. For VPS this includes supporting services such as CDN access to the noVNC in IPV4.  

Select VPS / VPS Brute

Select the VPS and VPS Brute Software Release. The version may change as new releases are made.

Set a title for your service for you to find it easily

If a VPS Brute is needed, change the requested type

If you need a simple VPS no need to do anything here. If you require a more powerful one please select "Default VPSBrute" in the "Software Type" field. To learn more about the different types of VPS sold by Rapid.Space and their characteristics check here: VPS – Virtual Private Server

If Needed, Select Specific location

By default Rapid.Space allocate the VPS to any available server. If a specific location is required for your project. You can access the list of available servers and their location: List of Default VPS and for VPS Brute. Select one where both Allocation Scope and Capacity are "Open". For instance here "COMP-3057" in the Hydro66 datacenter. 

Request and Pay

After clicking "Request" you are redirect to the pending payment page where the payment for the VPS can be found. If you have any other pending payments you will need to pay them first before your VPS can be deployed. Click on the payment in the list to pay.

Complete payment

If you are ordering from Rapid Space English website, you will be directed to the PayZen payment page, where you can pay with different types of credit card or debit card. 

If you are ordering from Rapid Space Chinese website, you will be directed to the Wechat payement page, where you can pay with your wechat pay account. 

Machine ready

 

Once your machine is ready, when you login to your console, you will see the subscription and its state bar becomes green. 

Access the subscription

Click on your subscription, you will be directed to the subscription console page, where you can also find the information of VM(s) that were ordered during this subscription. To get more information, please move to next lessons.
