Journey and transport to Fraunhofer IAO

From the airport: Coming by car/taxi takes 15 minutes. Coming by S-bahn lasts 30 minutes: from the airport, take the line S2 or S3 and stop at Universität station; then walk for 10 minutes.

From the Stuttgart Central Station: Coming by car/taxi takes 15-20 minutes. Coming by S-bahn lasts 20 minutes: from Hauptbahnhof Stuttgart station, take the line S2 or S3 and stop at Universität station too; then walk 10 minutes.

HSE

The emergency exit is directly besides the room and the toilettes are opposite of the meeting room.

Catering

The lunch during the meeting day is offered by Nexedi and will take place in a room next to the meeting one in Fraunhofer Institute. It will be a buffet.

A dinner in a restaurant will be organized for the guests who already arrived on site in the evening before the Conference.

  • On the 11th evening, the dinner will take place in Gaststätte Kirchtal restaurant at 7:30pm. The address is: Markgröninger Str.46, 70435 Stuttgart.
  • On the 12th evening, the dinner will take place in La Bruschetta restaurant at 7:30pm. The address is Pfaffenwaldring 62, 70435 Stuttgart. 

Internet

Every participant and speaker will receive a personnal account and password for the Fraunhofer Wifi. It will be completely free and available all the day long.

Electricity

Every participant and speaker will have an available 220V AC socket under their seat or next to them.
