ERP5 Gadgets provides on top of a standard ERP5 interface a fully adjustable area: the knowledge pad. User are free to select which content has to be displayed in it, by choosing in a selection of gadgets.
A gadget is an object used to display dynamic content. It is a good way to let user choose which important informations he want to display on the pages.
The knowledge pad provides:

Home area fully adjustable by ERP5 user
Asynchronous loading of Gadgets content which leads to much faster page loading times
Configurable parameters for each gadget
